Meet Our Faculty

Stephanie VanDyk, B.Sc. Kin. (Hons), MOMSc
Teaching Assistant, Clinical Supervisor
Stephanie’s passion for osteopathy stems from a lifelong interest and involvement in both athletics and rehabilitative sciences. Osteopathy allowed Stephanie to bridge her passions of athletics, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology and helping people into a very successful and rewarding career. Studying Osteopathy in its purest form has provided her with classical principles and an extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology which allows her to provide both preventative and rehabilitative care to her patients. The dynamic nature of osteopathic sciences allows Stephanie to work with a wide range of patients including professional and college-level athletes, geriatrics, pediatrics and everything in between.
Stephanie began this journey at the University of Toronto, where she completed a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology in 2016, and continued her studies at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO). Graduating in 2020, she now enjoys work as an osteopathic manual practitioner in her hometown of Brantford, Ontario, as well as teaching as a member of the CAO faculty. Educating and inspiring the future practitioners of the profession is extremely important to Stephanie as she understands that the strength of the profession lies with every student and graduate of the CAO. When not in her clinic or at the school, you’ll find Stephanie on the sidelines coaching competitive basketball, in the gym, with her head in a book or traveling.
